OP talk today was way boring. I thought it was a briefing our slide contents, but it turned out to be a talk on how presentations should be made. And the irony? The speaker himself made us sleep. I wish I had an Iphone to keep me entertained on such days Parents are going to Msia tomorrow, so mum will be using the lousy phone she threw me the other time. She’s gna get real mad with the terrible key pad, and then finally realise (but definitely not admit) the agony she put me through.

Dad and I had Rochor’s dou jiang you tiao for lunch! Unfortunately, the you tiao wasn’t hot and the drink was terribly sweet. At least I had a Portuguese egg tart to make up for that. Every time I get so hyped up about something new, my second trip always disappoints. Went by the lan shop my brother was working at, and boy do I want nothing to do with him. It’s a very mutual feeling, by the way.

Lihan’s previous comment woke up the hibernating baker in me. Am so tempted to go on one of my baking escapades next Saturday! For now, here’s the plan for tomorrow: Swim at Dad’s club, lunch at Dad’s club. Why: I don’t have to pay for anything hehe.

I don’t have to go to school anymore (for now) except on days with OP preparation. Sch starts at 1210 tmr, oh how vunderfool! Halloween’s about 1 week from now, so I have plenty of time to come up with my elf costume and cheesecake brownies. Am so eggcited! I love baking and pastries so let’s hope I get the job at Renaldo’s!

By the way, I just woke up from my 4 hours nap and I dreamt of a vampire coming after me.

I caught 500 days of Summer with Sheena and Megan yesterday. Uh-uh, far too abstruse for me. I’m a chick flick girl and brainless entertainment makes me happy. I’ve been so hooked on chick flick books about teenage girls, their college lives and summer flings. Am I being shallow? We had frozen yogurt before that, and I swear that it’s the new chocolate. Everyone’s jumping on the frozen yogurt bandwagon and oh, the beauty of monopolistic competition! We consumers will soon enjoy lower prices and a higher surplus. We had dou jiang you tiao at some Rochor shop after the show, my first time! You dip the fried dough into soy bean milk, and the milk OOZES out when you bite it. Gawwwwd, it was fantastic. Maybe 2d could go there for supper someday instead of Simpang.

School was a total flop today I found out that GP lessons were cancelled the moment I reach school. Honestly, what the hell! I could have slept in a little while more. Ms Tan told Titus that I was late for school again, oops. There hasn’t been any big issue with punctuality and attendance here at VJ, so I’m safe for the moment. I had a job interview (more life briefing) after that, and I think I’m giving it up if they want me to grill beef patties, deep fry fries and clean tables at Ion. I’d rather work at Renaldo at Eastwood, which is wayyyyyyyyyy nearer to home and doesn’t require me to clean tables to deep fry anything. Instead, I get to make strudel and pastries, now how cool is that?!

Anyway, school ends at 12.20 tomorrow and I have no CCA after that. Awesomeeeeeeee!

For Elissa,

I just had a grrrrreat Sunday with Jiemeis Our cycling plan was foiled because some slut stole Elissa’s phone. There’s a phone lock though, so the skank can go burn in hell instead. We decided to head to Chinatown to get some paper effigies and beat the crap out of the thief. Kidding, we went to Yoguru, where I had a very awesome chocolate yogurt. Elissa and Brenda however said that it looked like my shit Then we headed to Fish N Co express which was rather disappointing. Our 1st trip there was spectacular though.

Too much comfort food solves nothing, so we ended up at KBox instead. What better way to vent your frustration at the greedy Caucasian bitch who stole your phone! Singing “You belong with me” and dancing on the couch with the girls was wayyyyy awesome! Best part was when Eileen discovered Elissa’s panty in her bag and started throwing it around HAHA I almost got a photo of Brenda with the legendary panty, but unfortunately, no one beats the god-like speed of Elissa Nonya Wong. $17.50 for 4 hours with drinks, tidbits and finger food, now that’s a steal! We’ll only be students for a year more, so do remember to exploit all student deals. After that, we inevitably become victims of 3rd deg price discrimination. Be it food, transport or entertainment, there’s no escape!

We had our usual auntie shopping at NTUC, and I love it!! I got myself Marigold Prune Yogurt and Graci scorned me saying it was Low Class food Hate her, I’m gna pluck out all of DisGraciFoo’s hair. I am, by the way, very in love with Marigold’s prune yogurt and I’ll protect it with all mua life babe

Anyway, I’ve been on a book about sororities and it’s so cool and different from the college experience in here. Maybe it’s just me not making the best of my 2 years yada yada. I still wish I could turn time back, just one year.

Hiiii world I just got back from Ion. Yesterday was my first trip ever there, today’s the second. I insisted on R Burger for dinner after having a bite of Elissa’s yesterday. Wasn’t that fascinating anymore The green tea was a total flop, far to bitter for my liking. Yihao and Eugene weren’t full, so they had economic beehoon from Fei Siong. Cheapest food you can get there!

Moving back in time a little, I went to school at 11 yesterday so as to skip the drama of receiving our Econs paper. True enough, it did happen and thank god I didn’t have to witness people whining over getting 23/30. Hosannah to me! I know that there’s a difference between getting a A or B and achieving personal goals but let’s be a little sensitive to the people around. We had Physics after that so I wasn’t thoroughly spared after all. People rushing to the front with calculators and all… Come on, take a chill pill. Of course, don’t be a mofo like Eugene who goes around telling everyone he’s a U boy and he’s going to retain. FYI, that little prick lied to everyone and only to later message and say that “THE SECRET SHALL BE REVEALED. I am actually not retaining!”

Back to Ion, we ventured into a posh supermarket on the highest floor. It was freaking cold so there was static whenever we touched each other. Eugene and Yihao got so fascinated, they couldn’t stop touching each other’s arms. Both of them started sliding around on the floor to create friction to charge their arm hairs wtf!! Yihao even started dancing and singing “Peanut butter jelly time! Peanut butter jelly time”. Eugene being a fag as usual started screaming and roaring like some mad bitch!! We went to Prints after that and Eugene rubbed his arm against a notebook to create more static!!!

I have such childish friends, but v fun I like Anyway, I think I’ll start working soon to fund my Taiwan trip so that I wouldn’t have to ask my Dad for dough. Hopefully work wouldn’t be that boring or I’ll end up quitting again.

Hi allllllll I’m back! The thousand dollar question this morning: To skip school or not? I looked in the mirror and spotted sore eyes from the excessive hours on drama and chick flick books, so it’ must be Fate’s decree. Brenda and Ly didn’t believe that I really had a sore eye when I met them later at Simei. All they did was to point at me and say PONNER

Anyway, I went down to disrupt their study session at Simei, and we shared a huge waffle come with 3 scoops of god-awesome New Zealand Natural. I thought Hokey Pokey was a little too sweet but the honeycomb was woaaah. Chocolate ecstasy with little brownie pieces and Rocky Road was soooooo good, you can’t go wrong with chocolate. $3.90 for a single scoop and $5.90 for 3, so do bring a friend along! Make sure your friend doesn’t eat Chicken rice before that, because the last time I let Xh try my icecream, it ended up tasting like garlic chilli.

Eileen came after that and shared her little story, so Brenda and I started teasing her about HeartBottom hehe. We used to do that so much in sec4, just that it was about Aman and SomeOneElse. Lihan joined us a little while later, and when we saw her from afar, we went AH TER!!! This 5 man-strong impromptu gathering must have been the best thing this week.

PastaMania with Sheena&Megan tomorrow and overnight cycling with Jiemeis this Sunday, I cannot wait!! Oh, but there’s school tomorrow and PW to do nao. Dreadddddd

Watching 10 episodes of drama alone at home is driving me mad, especially with 3 bitches in the show. Really wish I was out with you guys instead! <3

Eugene’s 17th!

2d finally celebrated Eugene’s birthday, and I’m sorry it was so belated! Yihao suggested Manpuku, and I thought it was a pretty cool restaurant. Sheena, Megan and I shared a Cheese Mochi Okonomiyaki which looked absolutely fabulous but turned out mediocre.

I gotta agree with her on that! The last Japanese pizza I ate had so much cabbage I really wanted to throw up. We went to Frolick after that and for the first time ever, I thought it tasted awesome. I like it better when the plain frozen yoghurt ain’t overpowered by all the fancy toppings. Gina and Sheena got Eugene a cake in a cup and we ended up singing the birthday song to the funeral tune HAHA. I love 2d because they’re always so fun to be around. Though the jokes always get crude, we all know that there’s no intended malice. We sat at KFC after that, at the exact same spot we “celebrated” Vday back in sec4.

So yes, I survived the Open House 2009. Turned out to be pretty cool, especially the free milo Band’s performance was hell tiring though. I haven’t carried my instrument for a zillion years so holding it up for 20 minutes or so made my arm and back ache pretty badly. If I didn’t had 2d dinner to look forward to and if Sheena wasn’t coming down to VJ, I would have thought of a 100 ways to skip Open House.

Tomorrow’s gna be the first and last awesome Saturday I’ll be having for awhile. No mugging to worry about, no band. Next week, it would be PW CCA PW CCA and shit. The thought of it really puts me off, but at least there’s Thursday to look forward to!
