Of cookies and debts.

What I did for baking class on Friday! Pretty but troublesome, and absolutely not diet-friendly. On my way to class, I saw an old lady pulling down her pants behind Newton Food Centre, getting ready to take a piss. Thank god I went off fast enough before she flashed me her butt. I went to Bugis after that and had durian chewy junior for lunch. Bagus!! I love anything that has durian in it. My first day out in 5 days and my first shopping trip in ages, I have no life. Bought 2 new dresses and I think I have to starve a day in advance if I want to wear my bodycon dress.
Anyway, I went out for dinner with my parents just now and we had chilli crab and fried mantou!! It’s the bomb. I even got a new cake mixer and cookie cutters, all paid by Dad
Shall have some fun with it tomorrow and bake for Tuesday’s dinner with Jiemeis. Oh, Felicia, Sheena, Megan and I were supposed to go out on Monday for KBox but Sheena has PW
Hate you Sheena, I’m gna hold your OBS shirt hostage.
I actually owe a lot of people things, I’m a jackass will return it soon I promise
- Edmund, your BB shirt since sec4.
- Sheena, your OBS shirt since Chiangrai 2007.
- Megan, your storybook since 10 years ago.
- Eileen, your storybook since sec3.
- Andrea, your alphabet cookie cutters since sec 3, I will pass them to Leeying!
- Brenda, your DVD.
A one man mission.

You got it, I’m not entirely over Halloween. Every day, I marvel at the Western lifestyle. I like it how Halloween’s a big thing over there, I like the idea of a sorority, the concept of a cafeteria, the gorgeous food, everything!! Yes I know, grass is greener on the other side.
My life is not even average, it’s way below average. PW is 90% done despite not having any extra rehearsals, CCA is on hold (now that I’ll definitely not whine about! In fact, I’ll flash you my megawatt smile) and there are no new dramas. Freedom is a burden when everyone’s too busy to share yours. If only there’s a job out there that I like. Say, a part-time baker??
Tomorrow, I’ll complete I&R at MacDonalds in the morning, go for a swim and then go shopping. Yes folks, there’s nothing wrong with shopping alone. It’s highly productive and I enjoy doing that every once in a while. Whatever it is, I can’t spend another day at home lazing around.
Of course, nothing beats hanging out with your mates. Even if it means studying, I’m all for it.Your needy friend here misses all of you, please stop being busy
Halloween threeee

Here’s part 3 of Halloween, thanks to Gina for uploading them
I thought I should stagger the photo posts, but my life is terribly boring and I have absolutely nothing to do now. Yes, not even PW. Anyway, everyone loves photos over words.
My Sister’s Keeper
October 27, 2009

Graci, Eileen, Brenda, Elissa and I caught My Sister’s Keeper today, awesome show I swear! Eileen and I were tearing and tearing throughout. My favourite part was when Taylor came along and ended up with Kate. Imagine having a boyfriend who knows exactly what you’re going through cause he’s suffering from the disease as you are. The kissing scene was woaaaaahhh but unfortunately I can’t seem to find the picture anywhere online. They eventually attended a dance together and he never did contact her after which because he passed away
By the way, he’s real hot!!

Just when Kate was about to die and when the whole cinema was dead quiet, SOMEONE FREAKING HELL FARTED HAHA. Kate was giving her mum a scrap book, reminiscing, tearing and then came a huge RIPPING SOUND! There was silence for about 10 seconds or so before the giggling started and stopped, started and stop, started and stop. I really couldn’t tell if I was tearing from all the laughing or Kate dying. Honestly, who the hell farts when the main actress in on her death bed?!?! God, I don’t think I’ll ever get over this epic moment!
A 5 stars movie +1 for the unprecedented comical moment!
Oh dreadd x100 CCA tomorrow. And here comes the mail on my I&R.
Earth on fire.
October 24, 2009

Holy Moley, it feels like a cauldron out there! I’m hiding in my room with the aircon on and it feels like heaven now. Anyway, weather aside, we had a terribly boring talk on University admission this morning. It did give me a little direction though, and I’m thinking of doing a double degree in Law and Business at SMU. Yes, SMU sounds so awesome! Great location, campus, facilities and no dirty toilets (I presume). My premonition however, tells me that I’ll end up doing Business only because I’m not prepared to slog for the next 5 years of my life. Actually, I don’t even know what I want to do or where I should be heading
Had Yakun for lunch, loveeee their toasts! The Milo peppermint ice blend however was so weird, I couldn’t even make out what it was. Yakun should stick with toast and leave the drinks to Starbucks and Gloria Jeans. Starbucks green tea I-don’t-know-what is the bomb and so is GJ’s choco peppermint. Right, they cost a bomb too. Then I went around in search for a cheap green tshirt to make my elf costume but couldn’t find any. If only elves wore white. 1 more week to Halloween and Sheena’s, I’m gna try bake oreo cheesecake brownies
Kk going for a nap now and a swim later. Dear Sun, please go away cause I don’t need a burn or peel. With love, your mother.
You impaled??
October 22, 2009

This cracks me up!
OP talk today was way boring. I thought it was a briefing our slide contents, but it turned out to be a talk on how presentations should be made. And the irony? The speaker himself made us sleep. I wish I had an Iphone to keep me entertained on such days
Parents are going to Msia tomorrow, so mum will be using the lousy phone she threw me the other time. She’s gna get real mad with the terrible key pad, and then finally realise (but definitely not admit) the agony she put me through.
Dad and I had Rochor’s dou jiang you tiao for lunch! Unfortunately, the you tiao wasn’t hot and the drink was terribly sweet. At least I had a Portuguese egg tart to make up for that. Every time I get so hyped up about something new, my second trip always disappoints. Went by the lan shop my brother was working at, and boy do I want nothing to do with him. It’s a very mutual feeling, by the way.
Lihan’s previous comment woke up the hibernating baker in me. Am so tempted to go on one of my baking escapades next Saturday! For now, here’s the plan for tomorrow: Swim at Dad’s club, lunch at Dad’s club. Why: I don’t have to pay for anything hehe.
Here’s to more sleep!
October 21, 2009

I don’t have to go to school anymore (for now) except on days with OP preparation. Sch starts at 1210 tmr, oh how vunderfool! Halloween’s about 1 week from now, so I have plenty of time to come up with my elf costume and cheesecake brownies. Am so eggcited! I love baking and pastries so let’s hope I get the job at Renaldo’s!
By the way, I just woke up from my 4 hours nap and I dreamt of a vampire coming after me.
For Elissa,
October 18, 2009

I just had a grrrrreat Sunday with Jiemeis
Our cycling plan was foiled because some slut stole Elissa’s phone. There’s a phone lock though, so the skank can go burn in hell instead. We decided to head to Chinatown to get some paper effigies and beat the crap out of the thief. Kidding, we went to Yoguru, where I had a very awesome chocolate yogurt. Elissa and Brenda however said that it looked like my shit
Then we headed to Fish N Co express which was rather disappointing. Our 1st trip there was spectacular though.
Too much comfort food solves nothing, so we ended up at KBox instead. What better way to vent your frustration at the greedy Caucasian bitch who stole your phone! Singing “You belong with me” and dancing on the couch with the girls was wayyyyy awesome! Best part was when Eileen discovered Elissa’s panty in her bag and started throwing it around HAHA I almost got a photo of Brenda with the legendary panty, but unfortunately, no one beats the god-like speed of Elissa Nonya Wong. $17.50 for 4 hours with drinks, tidbits and finger food, now that’s a steal! We’ll only be students for a year more, so do remember to exploit all student deals. After that, we inevitably become victims of 3rd deg price discrimination. Be it food, transport or entertainment, there’s no escape!
We had our usual auntie shopping at NTUC, and I love it!! I got myself Marigold Prune Yogurt and Graci scorned me saying it was Low Class food
Hate her, I’m gna pluck out all of DisGraciFoo’s hair. I am, by the way, very in love with Marigold’s prune yogurt and I’ll protect it with all mua life babe
Anyway, I’ve been on a book about sororities and it’s so cool and different from the college experience in here. Maybe it’s just me not making the best of my 2 years yada yada. I still wish I could turn time back, just one year.
