I caught 500 days of Summer with Sheena and Megan yesterday. Uh-uh, far too abstruse for me. I’m a chick flick girl and brainless entertainment makes me happy. I’ve been so hooked on chick flick books about teenage girls, their college lives and summer flings. Am I being shallow? We had frozen yogurt before that, and I swear that it’s the new chocolate. Everyone’s jumping on the frozen yogurt bandwagon and oh, the beauty of monopolistic competition! We consumers will soon enjoy lower prices and a higher surplus. We had dou jiang you tiao at some Rochor shop after the show, my first time! You dip the fried dough into soy bean milk, and the milk OOZES out when you bite it. Gawwwwd, it was fantastic. Maybe 2d could go there for supper someday instead of Simpang.

School was a total flop today I found out that GP lessons were cancelled the moment I reach school. Honestly, what the hell! I could have slept in a little while more. Ms Tan told Titus that I was late for school again, oops. There hasn’t been any big issue with punctuality and attendance here at VJ, so I’m safe for the moment. I had a job interview (more life briefing) after that, and I think I’m giving it up if they want me to grill beef patties, deep fry fries and clean tables at Ion. I’d rather work at Renaldo at Eastwood, which is wayyyyyyyyyy nearer to home and doesn’t require me to clean tables to deep fry anything. Instead, I get to make strudel and pastries, now how cool is that?!

Anyway, school ends at 12.20 tomorrow and I have no CCA after that. Awesomeeeeeeee!

Dear Mum,

Movie plan failed, so Graci, Ly, Eileen and I ended up browsing books and pigging out. I got myself two new novels, which means no more time for Times Magazine. We had Fish N Co express which was heavenly. I don’t mean relatively heavenly compared to the bread, bread and more bread I’ve been having; IT IS GOOD.

An elongated fish with a final touch of mayonnaise, Mr Seadog! We also had fish n chips, fish nuggets, and a very orgasmic FISH CHOWDER!! It was good stuff so we got ourselves another cup

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again; I went into 3k’07 not expecting anything at all from the class. I thought we would end up as mere hang out friends, but I left AHS with much much more. When I woke up at 3am today, I thought about how we used to see each other everyday and I wish things could still be that way. Mornings would start off with Ly, Eileen and I being late for school. Then someone would start the cab and pick me up. Ly and I often had to do detention together, which is basically facing the GO wall for 45 mins. Recess would be rushing down to the canteen for prawn mee, having our trademark songsong soup with loads of chilli and watching LGL buy her lunch from the cai fan stall every Wednesday. After school, someone would suggest lunch or studying at Pasir Ris library while Saturdays would be cycling at Pasir Ris. I really like how the impromptu outings were always a success.

BRENDA WHY YOU AS SMELLY AS EVER!

Brenda changes her underwear every two days. Wear alr, flip over.

They went “Eh take us leh!” but I honestly heard “take our legs!” so I aimed the camera at their legs.

Anyway, I heard that AHS had their 2.4km run today at ECP, which was same scenario exactly two years ago. We were all sweaty and tired after the run, and that was when Jiemeis were formed after being an unofficial clique for 7 months or so. But official or not, I still love you guys for who you are. Always have, always will

Today was also Feeling Fab. Forest Adventure started only at 10, and we were trapped in school with nothing to do. The whole obstacle course was pretty cool albeit tiring. I chickened out at some obstacles, but I still completed it while grabbing on to cables. Big mistake on my part to wear fbts and sneakers; the harness was killing me and I kept losing my footing. Luckily, no abrasion or I’d be walking like a duck. And no YC, Forest Adventure isn’t about wrestling gorillas you DF!

Oh, and Happy birthday Mum. Last week was all about muesli bars and this week it’s good food at restaurants and cafes. 4th August is so eventful. I love August, don’t you?

NUNGA NUNGA?!

Now that mid years have been been postponed, I have no mood to study at all. Today, I read half a chapter of Econs and then went home. To watch Boys Over Flowers! It’s in Korean though and the I can hardly understand the Chinese subtitles. I love you KimBum! <3 So much drama makes me dread reality.

Yesterday was Teppenyaki at Eileen's place. Saspanty naughty so she brought Vodka. And I swear I wasn't drunk it was the stupid smoke that kept blowing into my face. Then we watched Angus, thongs and perfect snogging and it was bloody hilarious I nearly died. The funniest part was NUNGA NUNGA aha!

Watch the first 2 minutes! After that we started laughing about nunganungas and attacking each other. I was also having fun plucking Graci's leg hair. I'll miss you all when school reopens I dread next week a fucking lot.

Last night, I ate sleeping pills but still couldn't sleep. And I found the reason. It's because life has been pretty screwed and I can't stop thinking about what the next half of 2009 has for me. I really miss my secondary school life.

2d stayover!

2d’s stayover at Yihao’s house, bagus (Y)! Supper at Simpang and it seems like milo dinosaur is downsizing and also tasting worse. Rmb the AH days where the chinese auntie would charge us only $1.80 for it?? Jon Goh and Yihao paid $3 for miloshake which turned out to be milo with whipped cream when the uncle previously told them it was $2. Yihao being a yihao started cussing and Jon went “We need a guy who can do his math!” Then we went to Shop&Save to get Megan’s unagi chips and strawberry drink and…

Went back to laze around, watch tv and play cards. I still suck at bridge but it’s okay we have lvl 33 bridge master Poh around. Then we played slapjack, my reaction time so slow!! No wonder I suck at SPA After that was Indian poker – presenting to you the Indian of the night,

Jonathan suggested Indian poker with drinks and since Xiquan was with us, we managed to get vodka. Finished like barely half the vodka but 1 and a half bottle of 7up was already gone and we were all getting red. Sheena’s arms and legs were getting red too :O Jon Goh looked like some getai performer and Yihao was getting a little siao though we were all still sober. Me: “Eh the aircon like not working leh..” Yh: “Hey aircon, don’t take it too personally okay, I don’t think she means it that way..” Then ah wee was talking loudly and all of a sudden Yh went “Eh can you talk softly not. There’s a woman sleeping in the room you know. My mother.” LOLLLL somehow it sounded so funny when he said it.

Anw 娱乐百分百 was on again so I got to see my Luo Zhi Xiang!! They all said he ain’t good looking though Jon said he endorses sanitary pads, time to change brand!!! Most of us started sleeping at 2 plus or so and Yihao’s mum came to cover us with blankets at abt 6plus, so nice right!! I rmb she would buy KFC for us when we went to his house back in sec1…

Felicia and Edmund joined us in the morning and we jokingly told him to finish the vodka. He didn’t know it was 43% so he uncapped it and almost started drinking LOL Lunch after that and thanks to guitar I had to go cause my teacher said he would forfeit my lesson zzzzzzz But nevertheless, I still enjoyed myself and it’s you guys that bring out the craziest and crudest side of me Luv you all many many <3

Slumberrrrrr Party!

Yesterday was Jiemeis’ stayover at Elissa’s place and cause her parents weren’t at home, it really felt like we were living together. Awww I miss you all already!!

Elissa: “Eh, Graci looks like she’s lying in a coffin when I took at her through the glass table!” Look at her cat, so cute! Though it did scare me once or twice…

The night started off with unproductive studying because we kept talking hehe. Brenda looked so cute in her PJs! After that we decided to chillax in front of the TV and I pulled down the blinds because I was afraid I would see something outside. That’s when we started talking about the pulley flag system. When I was young, I used to imagine myself raising the flag. And then I found out I wasn’t the only one because Brenda hung yoyos at her bed and pulled them too!! We watched 娱乐百分百 and that was when I found out Luo Zhi Xiang was so irresistible….. Anyway the show was really hilarious and hearing Brenda’s giggle made things even funnier I laughed till I teared so much!!

When the show ended, GUESS WHAT?! The national anthem started playing so I pulled up the blinds pretending it was the flag hahaha!! Childish but fun and happy, very very happy Started falling asleep after that and when I woke up at 7 plus, Han said “Cherine must have been dreaming about Luo Zhi Xiang the entire night!” Awwww Han, you are right! Went back to sleep again and when I woke up, I found a huge clip on my hair. Guess who?? Eileen Cheong so naughty.

We had breakfast at the hawker centre and did auntie shopping with them at cold storage where we marvelled over Japanese confectioneries and peanut butter before I went home for a nap. True Singaporean lifestyle!

Afternoon was studying with yc the glutton who ate mcnuggets, fries, 2 bread and a medium milo and went “I’m still not full!” You will die when famine strikes.

Drop dead gorgeous and sweeter than sugar donuts. But you know what Elissa said?! “Cherine likes Ahbengs” That is not true!!

2d shanghai stayover at Yihao’s place this Friday, I cannot wait!!

Shanghai 3rd year anniversary & Soccer finals!

Today was an awesome day! Soccer finals with VJ vs MJ at Jalan Besar, and VJ won! The atmosphere was so crazy, my headache came back. But no doubt a wonderfooool experience. Then I met up with the 2d shanghai gang from Mj cause today’s our Shanghai 3rd yr anniversary! 3 years ago at this very time, I was at Changi airport with my mates.

We had Just Acia at Dhoby Ghaut for dinner and I ordered spicy chicken noodle which wasn’t that spicy after all. Conversations ranged from the soccer match to the old days and sick nonsense which were all so hilarious. After making too much of a din there we left to somewhere outdoor opposite the Macdonald’s house to lepak, talk cock and take photos. I miss sitting around with you all and doing nothing at all. Edmund was half dead and all of a sudden he went “Hey guys I’m sorry for my attitude I’m kinda tired..” LOL chillax tudi, no need to be so serious yo \m/

Majestia XXIV!

We took 1 week to prepare for Majestia XXIV, which was kinda amazing. Though there were some screw ups here and there… I was having a bloody headache throughout the concert, especially during the first half. Intermission was awesome, I got to see all my AH friends!!! Jiemeis, the band people, SHANNA whom I really miss!! Felt slightly better after that, and also because the songs in the 2nd half of the concert were much more soothing. Unlike windscapes which was far too abstract and noisy, I think everyone was falling asleep.

After the concert, I got to see Roslyn, Elaine and Serena!!! I really miss having them around in band. We packed up and all and then Jiemeis headed to Siglap for supper. We had Cafe Cartel where almost everything was going at half price. Sorry to make you all wait so long for me but I really enjoyed your company!!

Though my head was throbbing, it was still an awesome evening really Thanks to all who came, and for the flowers, chocolates and notes!

AND TOMORROW, SHANGHAI 3RD YEAR ANNIVERSARY I CANNOT WAIT <3
