Bland, yet satisfying.

Life has been like a bowl of clear soup, definitely bland, but surprisingly satisfying. When I read people’s blog and all about their escapades, I realise how much mine pales in comparison to theirs. I’ve been spending a lot of time with Me, Myself and I, but I haven’t at all been lonely. Loyang point Macs has became my turf since I spend most of my days studying there alone. My textbooks reek of fries and batter now. I’ve been running every day and swimming quite often, but I don’t seem to be losing weight. I’ll just take it as preparation for my Bay Run then.

On Thursday night, I was running along the Women’s prison to the end of the airport runway. It’s rather scary at night with mist suffusing at the end of the runway, and it’s been a long long time since I feared any possible paranormal occurrence. On my way back, there were SDP supporters “keeping vigil” outside the prison for Chee Siok Chin who was guilty of contempt of court. That’s the little globs of first hand excitements you enjoy for living in the vicinity of the prison. The other time when the Australian drug trafficker was hanged, there was the paparazzi.

Shortly after that we went down to surprise Graci! We thought she was bathing but Ly and Eileen ended up walking straight into her before midnight. So Brenda and I made our great escape and met Zhuting and Wenjia back at the pool side to wait for Gina, Megan and Fy. We had the most grotesque cake war, with little chunks of cake going into pants and shirts, as well as a cream hairdos. When I came home to bathe, there was cake all over my toilet floor.

SUP FOOZ I hope you enjoyed your day, and perhaps someday you would fry a fish or wash my clothes for me. I don’t mind you making my bed either… Send me the photos soon or I’ll spray a concoction of whip cream and mayonnaise down your undies.
